From when my sister, Zoë, first got a video camera, I was interested in making music for movies. We made a large selection of stop-motion animations and short films, and I was always ready to provide the music when it came time to transfer them to a VHS tape to watch on the TV. Sometimes I made new music using Zoë's keyboard, other times I used cassettes of already-completed music. My first multitracked album, Critical Dungeon, was used in its entirety as the soundtrack for Nature Scenes, an early nature movie of ours.
When I entered high school in 2001, Joe Worthen and I embarked on our first of many serious film projects, giving me my first significant opportunities to compose music for films. Over the years, I have greatly enjoyed composing and performing the soundtracks to my many various film and video projects.
