With some early experience with childhood video projects under my belt, I began seriously composing film music in 2002 when Joe Worthen and I started filming our first full-length movie, Tapeworm (fetish). Joe began making some short films of his own over the next few years, and I was always happy to provide him with music. It wasn't until 2006, during my sophomore year at The University of South Carolina, that I met other filmmakers who wanted original music for their films. I eagerly took any and all opportunities I saw to compose new music for student film, no matter the desires of the filmmaker nor the time constraints. Sometimes these opportunities panned out to be very enjoyable, other times not so much.
